I have raised an issue with reFX and they can reproduce the problem but I thought I would post here to see if anyone else has this issue, and to determine if it is a Reaper only problem while they look at the issue. I'm not totally sure if it is a Nexus or Reaper issue, but I can say I have tried it in Ableton Live 8 Lite and it doesn't occur.
You should see most of the sections in Nexus turn off, values get reset back to 0 including the master volume, and of course no sound plays when keys are pressed on the MIDI keyboard.
